Anti Shoes or Shoes that make you fit while you walk!

If you don't have time to get to the gym or take a zumba class you can now get toned legs, abs and butt muscles just by walking in the latest physiological footwear.

You will see more and more people wearing these unique athletic shoes that standout by their curved soles. These shoes are designed to mimic walking barefoot (remember Earth shoes?) and thereby tone your legs while relieving stress on the knees and hips. They also align your spine in a way that improves your posture. If you'd like to try them out, here are the three main athletic anti-shoes that I've found people wearing:

MBT - Sport 2 (Grey) - Footwear

Reebok - EasyTone Go Outside (Champagne/White/Red Attack) - Footwear

Skechers - Shape Ups - Optimize (BlackN) - Footwear

Gentle Zumba - less intense but still a good workout

Maybe you've tried a zumba class and it was just too much for you. If you get an instructor who teaches to mostly fast songs it may be hard to keep up.

Gentle zumba aka "zumba gold" has the same dance and fun like regular zumba but with a little less intensity, less impact, and a slower pace. Gentle zumba is good for active older adults, those who have not been exercising for awhile, and people who just want to take it slow and not have to jump.

Because of the variety of students it is fun to use a variety of music, everything from latin to swing, and to country to Broadway tunes. Gentle zumba may take longer breaks inbetween songs to drink water or chat.

I especially like teaching gentle zumba because it gives my body a break! If you are in the St. Petersburg, FL area check out my new gentle zumba class.
