What do you get when you combine Zumba fitness with the Curves circuit? A really fun workout!
Zumba fitness has partnered with Curves circuit training so that Curves may now employ licensed zumba instructors to lead the "recovery" sections or rather the cardio sections of the Curves circuit.
The Curves circuit consists of interval training using hydraulic resistant machines that are positioned in the round. After each interval of resistant training there is a cardio section. Zumba instructors will be in the middle of the round so that when participants rotate to the next section they will be doing zumba while positioned inbetween the machines. Each interval will be one minute and the total workout is thirty minutes.
This creates thousands of more jobs for zumba instructors and much more publicity and memberships for Curves.

I received a call from my zumba.com listing to do a couple of classes at a local Curves, but I'm having a hard time making a mix with the cues. The videos on the zumba inxtructor site aren't playing for me. Any thoughts?
I believe that as an instructor you can find the Curves music CD with the cues in the Shop.
My curves just started this last week. We had enough girls for each recovery station. The first round we all did the machines in-between but decided we couldn't let her dance alone. There are still some that do the machines in-between but for the most part we are just trying to dance and keep up with the instructor and have fun. We can do the whole circuit either before or after and any old day.
We are having great difficulty in getting a Curves Circuit with Zumba instructor in Curves North Fitzroy. (Melbourne, Australia).
Does anyone know any good instructors who would be interested in a position? Email the owner Pauline on curvesfn@bigpond.com or phone on 03 9817 5474
Have you looked on www.zumba.com? You can search by country and area for instructors who are near your facility. Then you will see their contact info and you can send them a message individually.
